Brown Recluse
• Length: 1/2- 3/4 inch.
• Can vary from dark to light brown.
• Violin-shaped mark on top back just behind its head.
• Lives in dark secluded areas; closet, attics, garages, ect.
• If bitten seek medical treatment immediately.
Black Widow
• Length: 1.5-1.75 inch
• Females black with red hour glass on the underside.
• Males much smaller in size with a brownish tint.
• Neurotoxin venom (If bitten see hospital immediately).
• Sometimes come indoors, mainly found next to house foundations, on fences, or garage corners.
Wolf Spider
• Length: 1/2- 1 inch.
• Common to see around houses.
• Nocturnal hunters, don’t form webs to capture prey.
• Have eight distinct eyes in three rows.
• Vary in color from; black, brown, tan, yellow.
• Usually patterns of specks and various stripes.
• Non-aggressive and non-lethal but they are venomous and will bite if provoked.
• If bitten seek medical treatment especially in children and elderly.
Carpenter ant
- Can be solid black in color or half red/ half black.
- Reproductive’s develop wings; usually seen on window seal.
Odorous Ant
• Length: 1/8 inch.
• Typically black/brown colored and gets its name from the smell it emits when crushed.
• When disturbed they move in erratic pattern.
Fire Ant
• Length: 1/8 - 1/2 inch.
• Fire Ants usually form large nests above ground.
• Red and black colored figure.
• Very aggressive/ stings so approach with caution.
Acrobat Ant
- Typically two toned in color with a lighter brown in the front and dark brown or black rear.
- Spade/Hear shaped abdomen.
- An adult rat can squeeze into your home through a hole as small as the size of a quarter.
- Rats have tough teeth that allow them to chew through lead, cinderblock, wire, aluminum and even glass.
- Rats can drop from a height of 50 feet without serious harm, and are good swimmers, climbers, and jumpers as well.
- Female mice are typically fertile within two months after birthed and are capable of having babies 6 to 10 times per year.
- Mice are good jumpers, climbers and swimmers.
- Mice have to build their homes near sources of food because they like to eat 15 to 20 times per day.
American Cockroach
- Typically light brown in color
- yellowish band on the back of the head sometimes resembling a halo.
German Cockroach
- Most common Cockroach world wide
- Attracted by the smallest of crumbs
- Likes warm humid enviorments
Brown-Banded Cockroach
- Small cockroach mostly shades of brown in color with distinct yellow markings on its back.
Smoky Brown Cockroach
- Large dark brown cockroach
- Normally hides under things such as compost, under wood decks ect.

Earwig
- Usually dark brown in color
- Like to hide in dark moist places during the day and are active at night
- Pincher can pinch you but it really doesn't cause you pain in my experience. I treat earwigs all the time and have never been "attacked".
- They don’t go inside of your brain when you’re sleeping and lay eggs, despite the rumors and the name. Their nests are typically underground and take two weeks to hatch.
Flea
- Skin becomes irritable because of the toxins that are in the flea’s saliva.
- Sometimes washing your pet will be enough to solve the problem
- Will lay eggs in the house, vacuum often
